The meme-amplifier-machine builds on the success and insights gained from Clash of Channels, where ~2,000 casters from 16 FarCaster channels played collectively. Using Liquality’s Collectives SDK, 10 memecoins competed to see which community could achieve the most mints for their meme-based creations. The goal is to align community incentives through collective onchain actions, driving a memetic reinforcement loop where communities create and spread their meme. The MAM tested users' willingness to pay and execute onchain transactions via Farcaster Frame Transactions.

1. Casters input a meme and choose their community on our meme mint frame generator
2. They cast their mint frame far and wide on Farcaster
3. Farcaster users mint and share the meme, and are able to pay using their memecoin
4. Revenue generated from mints is split 50/50 between the caster and the community’s treasury, creating an incentive to propagate the meme

The tool addresses the challenge of incentivizing community members to actively participate in meme creation and dissemination, addressing potential barriers like lack of motivation or misaligned interests.
Challenge
Adoption of memecoin communities, getting lost in a sea of endless shilling comments in their community chats and not able to get attention, despite having some admin support. Frame transactions for ERC20 payments require approval, which has big cut offs Farcaster sign-in UX is clumsy and creates significant drop-offs.
Takeaways
To encourage meme creation without leaving Farcaster, it would make sense to launch V2 as a meme-frame-creator within the platform. Additionally, memecoin communities are highly chaotic, lacking a clear method to capture member attention, even with administrative support.

The tool is adaptable for various online communities, social platforms, and content-sharing networks where user-generated content is key. It provides a framework to incentivize and reward contributions in the community’s currency, enhancing cohesion and engagement.
